Chief Executive Officer

Kevin brings a strong track record of sales success over 25+ years to his current role as Chief Executive Officer of New Age Medical. Kevin began his career working in sales for Proctor & Gamble. His first role in medical device sales was with Boston Scientific. He then transitioned to a sales roles with Synthes where he worked for both the Trauma and Spine divisions. When it was announced that Johnson & Johnson was acquiring Synthes, Kevin decided to partner with Bret (his DePuy competitor) and form New Age Medical.

Kevin’s singular focus at New Age Medical is to deliver superior value to its stakeholders: its surgeon, hospital and ASC, manufacturer, and distributor partners.

Kevin is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

He and his wife Kristen have two children: Neely and Andrew.


Chief Executive Officer

Bret’s professional background prepared him for success in his current role as Chief Executive Officer of New Age Medical. He began his career as a Surgical Technologist at Missouri Baptist Hospital and soon decided that his talents were best suited for “the other side of the table.” He moved into a sales role with DePuy Spine and quickly established himself as an asset to his peers and customers. Bret was a perennial top performer within his distributorship by combining his clinical background with his sales skills. When it was announced that Johnson & Johnson was acquiring Synthes, Bret decided to partner with Kevin (his Synthes Spine competitor) and form New Age Medical.

Bret attended Southwest Missouri State University and majored in Business Marketing.

He and his wife Stacey have one child: Natalie and they stay busy at the softball fields most weekends.


Chief Financial Officer

Brian joins New Age Medical in his role as Chief Financial Officer with 15+ years of accounting and finance experience. He began his career at Ernst & Young before leaving the accounting field to pursue an opportunity in the college basketball world. After serving as the Director of Basketball Operations at Saint Louis University, he reentered the finance profession by joining Aegion (formerly Insituform), a global leader in the water and wastewater rehabilitation segment. He served in a variety of progressing roles at Aegion, including Director of Financial Reporting, Director of Business Integration, Senior Controller, and VP-Finance for the Corrosion Protection Platform. He left Aegion in 2018 to join EaglePicher Technologies, a leading producer of batteries and energetic devices, where he served as VP – Operational Finance.

Brian is a graduate of Saint Louis University, where he earned Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees in both Accounting and Management Information Systems. He also holds a graduate degree of Executive Master of Business Administration from Washington University

He and his wife, Jen, have three busy, active children: Gabriella, Dominic, and Max.


Vice President of Operations

Mike has more than 25 years of experience in the spine industry. Mike has achieved success in several roles as leadership in both the distributor and corporate sales model.

Mike was the owner and President of a successful, top-tier multi-state DePuy Spine distributorship for almost 10 years. He was also an Area Sales Director for LDR Spine, managing a team of Regional Sales Managers across a 9 state area with large growth under his leadership. Additionally, Mike was the Vice President of Operations and Business Development for an Orthopedic Spine Surgery practice.

Mike is a graduate of University of Missouri where he received a Bachelor of Science in Hospital Administration.

He and his wife Kelly have four children and two grandchildren that keep them busy.


Vice President of Sales

Matt brings over 15 years of spine industry experience with numerous leadership roles in sales and marketing to his current role as Vice President, U.S. Sales of New Age Medical. Prior to joining New Age Medical, he spent 2 years at Viseon, Inc. as the Vice President, U.S. Sales where he lead all commercial activities as well as developed the entry strategy for the start-up. Prior to cutting his teeth in the start-up world, Matt spent 9 years with NuVasive, a publicly traded medical device company, where he served in roles of increasing seniority and leadership responsibilities. Additionally, Matt spent three years at Medtronic where he held positions focused on spinal systems and biologics.

Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, Tucson.

Matt and his wife, Stephanie, have 5 very active children: Rylie, Mason, Griffin, Blake and Walker. The entire family loves spending time on the mountain, in the ocean and on the lake.
